Back to normal.

Everything is back to normal again. All the girls are back to school after a long long holiday and I am back in my shop. If you look at the photo's you won't believe me if i say we had a wet very wet and windy holiday. We went for a camping trip to the Coromandel a beautiful part of New Zealand but is was so wet and windy, not nice if you have to sleep in a tent.

One of my girls spotted a love heart puddle, isn't that sweet.

The beach is great there.

But believe it or not after a camping trip like this I was happy to be home and to be back in normal life.

Welcome back, pity it was so wet and windy, your photos look so nice. I always marvel at how we have opposite seasons. The heart shaped puddle is very sweet. Hugs, Margie.

Oh my gosh, Coromandel! What wonderful memories you are bringing back to me....we did it in a campervan in Winter....I well remember the sky at night...stars to die for! Sorry you have had such poor weather.....I hated camping when it was bad weather - that's why we have a caraven....you can be tucked up in bed while others are still putting up a tent.

Introducing

This is the first time that I write in my blog.
I am Jacoline, me and my family emigrated to New Zealand from The Netherlands 3 years ago.
I can tell you, we went through some hard times in those 3 years, but we found our dream.

We bought a lovely home close to the beach. I spend a lot of time in our garden which has a lot of fruit trees, a nice vegetable garden and great flowers.

I love to shop in secondhand shops and garages sales are the best invention ever.
My days are filled with craft, cooking , baking and of course my 3 girls.
I try to have a beachwalk every day and on wednesday I join the quilt club.

We are still busy with rebuiling the house to make it a great home.
We like traveling and like to discover our new country.
I keep you updated with new stories, recipes, ideas and pictures every week.
