L is for Lovely Living

Sorry for my long long absence. But a lot can happen in a year!
I think it is time for a new fresh start and some blogging, yeah!!!

With only girls in my house, i am slowly making it in my dream home. Lots and lots of white paint is used and lots is still waiting to be used. Florals in pink and red, new quilts, always fresh flowers and lots of baking (that is what brings a smile on our face) and some extra on the hips as well, a well you only live ones !!

The L is for Lovely Living the shop i have for 3 years now and it is still my passion. I am living the dream.
It is hard work and as a single mum not always easy when the kids have school holidays, but i am my own boss and that is great.

This year for the first time i am organizing a Lovely Living Home and Garden Christmas fair.
I will transform my shop for one weekend to my home and my garden. Fingers crossed for nice weather though. So if you are in the area, you can do your Christmas shopping all at ones.
Lots of great gifts, Christmas decorations, flowers, buntings, coffee, tea and cake (yeah cake again !!)

Welcome back, I have missed your post so much. Your home and garden look fabulous, i really love the white interior. Good luck with your Christmas plans. Your so inspiring, parenting alone, running your own business and keeping a beautiful family home that has love at its heart. I have not been blogging much this year and not at all since Mr. Margie suffered a stroke in August, he is thankfully on the mend now. Big hugs and keep on inspiring, Love Margie. xx

Introducing

This is the first time that I write in my blog.
I am Jacoline, me and my family emigrated to New Zealand from The Netherlands 3 years ago.
I can tell you, we went through some hard times in those 3 years, but we found our dream.

We bought a lovely home close to the beach. I spend a lot of time in our garden which has a lot of fruit trees, a nice vegetable garden and great flowers.

I love to shop in secondhand shops and garages sales are the best invention ever.
My days are filled with craft, cooking , baking and of course my 3 girls.
I try to have a beachwalk every day and on wednesday I join the quilt club.

We are still busy with rebuiling the house to make it a great home.
We like traveling and like to discover our new country.
I keep you updated with new stories, recipes, ideas and pictures every week.
