Crochet.

I'm in the crochet mood lately. It is so easy to carry with you. Most of the times I carry wool and a crochet needle with me in my bag.
I made a small baby blanket and a bigger rug for a customer and today I finished these great cushions. All in naturals and I think they look great.

Getting there.

Good morning all, Monday again and a new week. Time is going so fast. But that is what we all say. We enjoy spring here in New Zealand, yesterday was a glorious day after the big storm we had. I worked in the garden for most of the time and Mr. Lovely Living was paving the floor in the garden house. We are getting there. It is a great place to be and even that it's not finished we enjoy it. Have a look yourself.

It is to wet today to finish the painting job so that has to wait till next weekend, don't worry I won't be bored today!

A lot can happen in a few seconds.

Monday again and I'm sitting with my morning coffee and thinking about a new quilt what I want to make. But a lot of people in New Zealand have bigger worries than thinking about a quilt. They are still shaking about what happened last weekend, the big earthquake.


We lived and worked in Christchurch for a while and know the area really well. Nobody is hurt but the damage is huge. Just horrible.
You know it can happen but you always thinks it won't.



We are thinking of all the people who are going true a hard time at the moment!
