Creative week, part 5

This is the last part in the row. I like to show you the fabric postcards. The are made from a colour full cotton top with a calico background so you can wright you text on the back of the postcard. I made a lot of different ones and the come with a normal white envelop to send by normal mail.

It's to hard to show you all the things we made for the Arts Trail so if you are in the neighbourhood you are more than welcome to come over and otherwise I show you how our weekend was. Hope the weather will be fine , that's help full.

Hi Lien, what a week of creativity you have gone through. Congratulations. Your work is fantastic. The bags are amazing and I loved the photo of your daughter, she so reminds me of my daughter, Lein, who is now twenty, I am sure I have similar photos from when she was younger, book in hand and cat on the bed. The advent tree combines my favourite heart shapes with my favourite colours in hearts, and your postcards are very inspiring. I look forward to your next blog. Margie.

You have been busy for the Arts trail!! I love your advent hearst - the colours, the jute, the pegs - just lovely. The little red and pink zippered pouch is also gorgeous. I am sure your stall will do well with all your beautiful goods.

Oh I love these cloth postcards. They would be great for sending out to postcrossings.com members. I joined there just recently. I am in the USA or I would definitely just hop on over and introsuce myself just to see your crafts. Loved the advent trees too.

Introducing

This is the first time that I write in my blog.
I am Jacoline, me and my family emigrated to New Zealand from The Netherlands 3 years ago.
I can tell you, we went through some hard times in those 3 years, but we found our dream.

We bought a lovely home close to the beach. I spend a lot of time in our garden which has a lot of fruit trees, a nice vegetable garden and great flowers.

I love to shop in secondhand shops and garages sales are the best invention ever.
My days are filled with craft, cooking , baking and of course my 3 girls.
I try to have a beachwalk every day and on wednesday I join the quilt club.

We are still busy with rebuiling the house to make it a great home.
We like traveling and like to discover our new country.
I keep you updated with new stories, recipes, ideas and pictures every week.
