Garage sale or vintage shop???

Sometimes there are days that you think grrrrr. But than you go to a garage sale and your eyes are almost falling out off your head. This is not a garage sale, this looks more like a great vintage shop.
It was to hard to make a good choice so I bought everything I liked. When we came home we told the girls about the great bargains and after a quick breakfast we went straight back!
On the photo is just part of what we bought, isn't it great!
We bought a great wooden daybed as well which is now out on the veranda. Tommorow I'll make some photo's to show you all.

WOW! That is a fabulous find alright. I have those exact cushions from IKEA, they're so sweet and chic.

I haven't done garage sales for some time now, I think you've inspired me to get back out there. Now that our days are quite warm I don't mind rising just that tiny bit earlier.

Can't wait to see your other finds.

Wow Jacoline, I'd say you scored big time! Great finds! The fabrics on the pillows are fabulous and the metal tub is great!

Introducing

This is the first time that I write in my blog.
I am Jacoline, me and my family emigrated to New Zealand from The Netherlands 3 years ago.
I can tell you, we went through some hard times in those 3 years, but we found our dream.

We bought a lovely home close to the beach. I spend a lot of time in our garden which has a lot of fruit trees, a nice vegetable garden and great flowers.

I love to shop in secondhand shops and garages sales are the best invention ever.
My days are filled with craft, cooking , baking and of course my 3 girls.
I try to have a beachwalk every day and on wednesday I join the quilt club.

We are still busy with rebuiling the house to make it a great home.
We like traveling and like to discover our new country.
I keep you updated with new stories, recipes, ideas and pictures every week.
