Arts Trail

The kapiti Coast's arts and craft exponents will open the doors of their studios to the public on the second weekend of November. The trail is open from 10am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday, November 8-9.
This is the biggest annual arts event on the Kapiti Coast. We have an incredible number of talented artist and it is wonderful to have this event to showcase them to visitors.
The arts trail ranges from Paekakariki in the south to Otaki in the north. The range of arts include; paintings, ironwork, jewellery, sculptures, mosaics, stone, pottery, quilts, garden art felting and much more.
We made a lot of things and love to give you a little glimpse of what we made. It was great fun making all the things and thinking how to display. We thinking of having a beach theme. So we went to the beach every night and brought back heaps of driftwood to display all the items.
So if you are in New-Zealand it's worth to come over and spent a great weekend on the coast. And if you are looking for accommodation you can stay the night in our Bed and Breakfast.
Your Welcome !!

I wish I was living in NZ and could visit your B+B and go to the studios. Good luck with the driftwood and I look forward to reading about it.
Greetings from Ireland. Margie.

Zo jullie zijn druk bezig geweest zeg! Hebben je dochters geholpen? Leuk. Laat je foto's zien van hoe het er uiteindelijk uit komt te zien. (voordat al die mensen jullie spulletjes gekocht hebben) Het klinkt als een heel leuk project.

Liefs Heidi

Introducing

This is the first time that I write in my blog.
I am Jacoline, me and my family emigrated to New Zealand from The Netherlands 3 years ago.
I can tell you, we went through some hard times in those 3 years, but we found our dream.

We bought a lovely home close to the beach. I spend a lot of time in our garden which has a lot of fruit trees, a nice vegetable garden and great flowers.

I love to shop in secondhand shops and garages sales are the best invention ever.
My days are filled with craft, cooking , baking and of course my 3 girls.
I try to have a beachwalk every day and on wednesday I join the quilt club.

We are still busy with rebuiling the house to make it a great home.
We like traveling and like to discover our new country.
I keep you updated with new stories, recipes, ideas and pictures every week.
