Happy Mothers day !!

This is how I wrap the presents. I make the bags myself by sewing 2 nice pages of a magazine together. With a sticker from the shop and a ribbon made out of a piece of material it looks great.
All the customers love it and the come back because they love the wrapping!!
Great marketing.

Here are some great mothers day ideas from my shop.

The bath and body range from Cath Kidston.

Wish you all a nice weekend!!

Love the wrapping idea! We made up party bags for Maia's birthday with the same idea using old children's picture books. I have lots of old marked and ripped books collected for this reason but most are still intact on my bookshelf because there seems something so wrong in tearing a book apart!!! Hope you have a great weekend. x

Hi Lein,

Loving the pics of your shop! You bought some brooches off me last year - from Songbird Designs. I hope they have gone ok. Let me know if you want anything else from my range - I have a few bits and pieces that I think would suit the shop from the pics I have seen! email: songbirddesigns(at)xtra(dot)co(dot)nz.

Thanks S

That wrapping is a great idea! And I love the virtual tour of your shop. I grew up on the Kapiti coast and the pictures of Kapiti Island on your sidebar make me more than a little nostalgic!

I was given some Cath Kidston toiletries for Christmas and really love them and they are also so pretty to look at. Keep posting photos of the shop - it looks great.

Wat fijn dat je weer terug bent. Je hebt een geweldige winkel en wat een leuke dingetjes heb je.

Introducing

This is the first time that I write in my blog.
I am Jacoline, me and my family emigrated to New Zealand from The Netherlands 3 years ago.
I can tell you, we went through some hard times in those 3 years, but we found our dream.

We bought a lovely home close to the beach. I spend a lot of time in our garden which has a lot of fruit trees, a nice vegetable garden and great flowers.

I love to shop in secondhand shops and garages sales are the best invention ever.
My days are filled with craft, cooking , baking and of course my 3 girls.
I try to have a beachwalk every day and on wednesday I join the quilt club.

We are still busy with rebuiling the house to make it a great home.
We like traveling and like to discover our new country.
I keep you updated with new stories, recipes, ideas and pictures every week.
